Truly highlight what you offer, dont hijack other peoples qualities. Use care in choosing words that reflect your professionalism and background. Sprinkling in words that dont define who you are will make your resume suspect. As an example, many jobseekers use the word "loyal" in their resume, but a quick read of the resume reveals they held three jobs in the last five years.
A BIO is simply a portal into your growth and expansion. It is a condensed version of either an individual or a company's background and provides potential clients with insight into who and what you are about. It is in essence a short story of your professional life and a means of highlighting your experience in such a way as to demonstrate your credibility.
Sometimes we set ourselves up to have our resumes tossed into the quick sand. Thats right, if you didnt apply for the job you were grossly under-qualified for, you may not have found yourself in this position. So if you know that you can provide absolutely no proof that you qualify for a position, its best not to apply. And while youre at it, stop sending resumes to the same recruiters. If theyre interested, theyll likely contact you. Repeatedly sending your resume to a recruiter is neither necessary nor appropriate.
