Any achievements that you think are worth mentioning need to be included in this section of the resume. This does not mean that you mention the award you received in the first grade. The achievements listed should make a good impression on a prospective employer. It would reflect well on you, if you included details of achievements that are relevant to the position vacant.
The person looking through those resumes has to see what he's looking for immediately. He doesn't have time to read each one in detail and won't take time to read between the lines to figure out what the candidate is capable of doing. Focus your resume on one functional role. If your experience would allow you to go in two or more directions, write a different resume for each.
A good resume gives the measurement of an individuals professionalism and gives a proof of his/her capabilities and ambitions. In short it represents an individual in his/her absence. It gives a basis to compare different individuals applying for the same post.
Developing an organized style of writing is important for resume writers. Arranging sentences and paragraphs into a manner that can make them readable is something that can add up value to a particular copy. If you want to achieve this, using bulleted lists can help a lot. Content written in a list is easy to read and understand. Just remember to observe parallelism in constructing each sentence in the list. If you start a list with a verb, make sure that the succeeding ones also start with such.
